Ramsha Shakir
Ramsha graduated from the University of Washington with her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English in 2017. She is a recent graduate of the
University Of Washington School Of Law and is eager to enter the world of Family Law. She is the most recent recipient of the American Academy
of Matrimonial Lawyers Scholarship. Ramsha currently serves as the Vice President of Diversity for the Women's Law
Caucus and the Vice President of Communications for the South Asian Law Student Association at UW Law where she strives to include discussions of intersectionality
between student organizations and the greater UW community. She is also a member of the King County Chapter of Washington Women Lawyers. As a volunteer for the Center
for Human Rights and Justice, Ramsha works directly with asylum seekers and detainees to assist in completion of asylum applications, which supports her goals of
providing legal assistance to all members of the community. Outside of the world of law, she enjoys hiking and exploring the PNW.
